For three days in August more Corvettes converge to one central location than anywhere else on the planet.  Corvettes at Carlisle presented by eBay Motors is August 25-27 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and between the cars parked on grounds and those registered for the Fun Field, over 5,000 Corvettes will be present.  Mix those 5,000 in with nearly 60,000 guests, and it makes for quite the showcase of America’s Sports Car!

Not only will every generation of Corvette be on display, but there’s an automotive flea market packed with the latest aftermarket Corvette items, plus a nice mix of original items too.  There’s also Corvettes for sale within the car corral for anyone looking to pick up their first or next speed machine. 

Seminars and autograph sessions are also a big part of the show, with GM certified technician Paul Koerner and his Corvette Mechanic crew onsite.  Playing to a packed Corvette Mechanic team garage within Building R, they’ll leave no question unanswered.  Seminars include how to buy your first car, diagnostics on all generations, and more.  Further, Corvette guests including Team Chevrolet will also be positioned in Building R where they’ll sign autographs and meet showgoers, while the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation will set up shop in a tent just off IF row (space 74).  Visit the CMAF to register for TWO amazing Corvettes, including a Z06 (sweepstakes car awarded October 1) and a 2LT (raffle car awarded at 7 p.m. on August 27).

Corvettes at Carlisle also welcomes some very special cars to the show, including a Callaway showcase that includes “Sledgehammer,” an 880hp Corvette that was recognized for 11 consecutive years as the fastest street-legal Corvette.  In addition, on stage, Corvettes at Carlisle welcomes the first Corvettes that Carlisle Events co-owners/co-founders Chip Miller and Bill Miller showcased at the very first Corvettes at Carlisle in 1982.  There will also be a “Cheers to 40 Years” celebration on the stage with Bill and Lance Miller (no relation).  The celebration also welcomes a few industry professionals who plan to discuss how things have evolved over the last 40 years and what goes into planning the largest Corvette car show in the world.

Those cars join Team Chevrolet, a 50-year reunion of 1972 Corvettes, the NCRS Gallery, NCCC 7-Sanctions judging, Chip’s Choice featuring Pratt & Miller/Factory Corvette Race Cars, and more in Carlisle.  Speaking of people joining cars, the Pratt & Miler display in Building T welcomes Dan Binks, retired crew chief for Corvette Racing.  Binks directed many of the cars guests will see in the display while they were on the track and his career spans more than 40 years, including leading Corvette Racing team from 2002 until his 2020 retirement.  Not only will Binks be appearing, he’ll be signing autographs and hosting a Q&A discussion specific to each display car.      

Finally, there are some great prizes on the line too.  Lingenfelter Performance presents the King of the X autocross competition, where two winners will take home $500 each; the Ron Fellows Driving School is giving away an experience at their Nevada venue; Aerolarri Wheels presents four of its best to the People’s Choice winner; and the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation in partnership with the Lancaster County Corvette Club will award the aforementioned 2LT in conjunction with Saturday’s Pennsylvania Lottery Pick 3 drawing.  A portion of the proceeds benefit Claire House.
